Hey - thanks for looking into it.

My point was not to show that your sample was too simple, but rather just to explain the full scenario in which the problem occurs. It's has bugged me for years that I can't make it work, and I haven't attempted resolving it in a while, so I thought I would ask the community for help.

I'm still hopeful that someone has an answer.

My current approach is to add blank details rows to push the Summary Band to the end of the last page, but it requires running the form with no show for several times to get it right, by counting pages and rows, etc.. It works, but it is very annoying to my users, and to my programming pride.

>>However, it is too simple to see the results that I am getting.
>>
>>To see the problem I am describing, you need to have enough detail rows to spill over on to the second page of the report. Also, my Summary Band has about 6 rows and it is about 1.5" (37mm) tall.
>>
>>Now then, with that in your test, what you will see is that you will get a 1.5" (37mm) gap at the bottom of the page 1. (Page 2 will be fine with a few rows at the top, and the Page Footer at the bottom).
>>
>>Becaase the Page Footer is so tall, it is very noticable that the printing of the detail rows did not go all the way to the bottom of the page. You will not notice it if the Page Footer is only 1 row tall.
>>
>>I have tried everything ("Remove if Blank" and "Print When" and cleared the "Constant band height" checkbox). It simply does not obey those rules in the Page Footer.
>>
>>Will you please modify your sample as I described and test again? I will really appreciate it.
