Yeah. I'm already running SP1.
I imagine that there's some ambiguity in the code that checks valid references. In VS 2005, for example, if a declaration was made in a nested statement then the variable would be flagged with the squiggly red line even if the nest was like "If True" or otherwise impossible not to happen.
