Actually, if this is a school project, text-to-speech is an excellent topic. What I would suggest in this regard is to create a simple data entry application, grab the ActiveX control and link it in and show how text-to-speech could be used for disabled users....such as maybe a right-click event that fires off cursor location in speech, a read-back of a control value on lostfocus, status messages in speech....
