Well, I have a table that is in a memo field. This table was created from a third pary vendor. Anyway, there are times when we need to delete empty spaces between the columns so that it will fit in the report. The problem with the 'modify file' is that to delete something it is structured for horizontal deletion not vertical. With the macro in VFP, it would be easy to take out colums instead of manually doing this. Right now, my customer wants me to programmatically deteremine the spacing in the table and be able to choose how many spaces to delete. I thought a macro would be the perfect solution. Any thoughts?
