I have a field in SQL that holds both the text I want to report plus the formatting that is applied to it:

Two clients have a type as internal transfer instead of external. The director is concerned that this is negatively affecting their stats as the client is appearing twice.

VJL:

Ref Numbers: AB123 & DE456

How do I remove the formatting in my reporting field so that only the text remains:

Two clients have a type as internal transfer instead of external. The director is concerned that this is negatively affecting their stats as the client is appearing twice. Ref Numbers: AB123 & DE456

Should I change the field in my sql procedure or within reporting services itself?
