Hi everyone,

Got this e-mail, may be someone will be interested (I obviously can not attend).

Silverlight 2 Fire Starter This Saturday in NYC
Microsoft Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device plug-in for delivering the next generation of .NET based media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web. By using Expression Studio and Visual Studio, designers and developers can collaborate more effectively using the skills they have today to light up the Web of tomorrow.
Silverlight 2 just had its big coming out party as NBC used it to power their online coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The final release is due soon. Are you ready for it?
Back on August 25th, Peter Laudati announced the Silverlight 2 Fire Starter that will be coming to NYC this Saturday, September 13th. The event registration quickly filled up and sold out. Peter is now happy to announce we managed to obtain a larger room and have added several open slots to the registration!
Anyone who registered on the site already and was “waitlisted”, should have received (or will shortly) a message indicating that you are now officially registered to attend. For anyone who saw that the event was full and gave up without putting your name on the waitlist, please visit the link below and register:
