I agree the GOP should not have flown into high dudgeon, whatever was meant. I think they should have just said perhaps Obama wasn't as "articulate" as Biden claimed.

He used to advocate the "pig f*cker offense" - i.e. you call your opponent a pig-f*cker and make him deny it. :-)
