It is being opened in the data environment of a form, with NoDataOnLoad set to the default .F.
From your question, I figured that you did not see anything fundamentally wrong with the view.
That was good to know! I thought it may have been my bad code.
I got it to work by doing a REQUERY() in init.
In VFP7 it loaded the data automatically, but not in VFP9.
Its working fine now. Thanks for replying.
