Hi Dragan.. thanks for your reply.
Business Objects (The Product) seems to be fairly widely used in this part of the world and it has
come up frquently enough in recent conversations.
Apparently SAP bought the product in the recent past
It seems to be in the 'BI' (Business Intelligence) stable and lets you drill up,down around, Pivot, charts
Dashboards etc.
The few people I have spoken to who have used it (Users rather than IT people) were very impressed with it
It also seems to be quite expensive and I am looking for alternatives , suitable for smaller companies
Regards,
Gerard

>If anyone has a product called so, they're in for a nice ride. There are several programming philosophies revolving around the use of business objects, several frameworks (and dot net) have their own business objects, so if these guys really tried to reuse the name of a generic term as their product name... they shouldn't be surprised if nobody here heard of them. I mean, this is the first response to your message in 13 hours - someone should have used that product if it was well known.
