>I have a new setting for subscribers. The default is ON. It shows two new icons, next to the original map icons. Those are for launching the map in the above frame. It can be turned OFF in the subscribers options.

I see the new icons. Unfortunately, at least in FF3 they are not working as expected. Steps to reproduce:

- open FireFox3, with just one tab open
- log on to UT
- view replies (at the moment I have 5) in the lower frame of the original tab

- right-click on a message and view it in a new tab

- click on the new "View the map of this thread in the above frame". The original tab shows activity, and the message map appears in the top frame. It overwrites the list of unread messages since last logon, which can no longer be retrieved with the back button etc. The only approximation is to use the GoBack function but this is not accurate. Note at this point the lower frame still shows the 5 replies.

For me, this is worse than it was before, as it causes the list of unread messages since last logon to be overwritten and lost.

The original "View the map of this thread" button works as expected, showing the map in the second tab. I believe it was working this way before but if not, this is the way I'd like it to work.

All of this is somewhat besides the point. I was always able to view the message map in a secondary tab. The issue was/is viewing selected messages of that map:

- when viewing a thread map, select one or more messages to view
- click on the "View" button. The selected messages appear in the lower frame of the original tab, overwriting anything that was there. Expected behaviour is for the list of messages to view to appear in the secondary tab, overwriting the map.
