>>>You live in a really tough place, Alan. By the way, how it's happened that you "don't know anything about it" if you saw the article already? Slanted media?
>>
>>What are you talking about now? When and where did I see the article 'already'? I clicked on the url you posted and read it a few minutes ago. I assume the article is accurate, but I have no first hand knowledge of it. What is it that is so hard to understand?
>>
>>>If you will ever get to NYC call me. I will take you on short trek, few city blocks, to improve your knowledge about the outer world.
>>
>>Will that help me to haggle the price down at the gas stations here in Toronto? Or do you think that whenever I need a fill up I should drive to New York, or Houston or Tennessee and price shop.
>>
>This is too pragmatic. Should every knowledge help you fill the car? Being a logical person you could conclude that Toronto has endemic gauging problem, likely caused by city government corruption. In other words, you support thieves by your taxes while other people, especially living in USA do not have this problem. Basically, you are the part of the problem, Alan. Do you need in help?

Sorry, but the city of Toronto gets nothing. The taxes on the gas sold in Toronto are Federal and Provincial and the gouging as far as I can tell is at the oil company level. If your federal government has some mechanism that stops this from happening, that's great. Here, there is no such mechanism.

I'm part of the problem? What on earth are you talking about?

Do I need help? My lord man. Could you be any more pompous? What will you do, invade Canada and save us?
