We only have 2 native snake species: viper (adder) and grass snake (non-poisonous). There is also the legless lizard, slow worm and only one other species of lizard, the common lizard. Beats me why they call it "common" when there are no "rare" species. Both lizards are to be found on the hillside where my allotment is and I've seen them several times up there in the last 10 months.

I'll have to shoot over to Devon for a snack then!

Aye ... YET!
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
