I attempted to restore master onto a new server and received the following error message:

The backup of the system database on device L:\Production Backup\master.bak cannot be restored because it was created by a different version of the server (134219767) than this server (134219915). RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally”.

The production server’s @@version info is

Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.2039 (Intel X86)
May 3 2005 23:18:38
Copyright (c) 1988-2003 Microsoft Corporation
Enterprise Edition on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2)

The new server’s @@version info is

Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.2187 (Intel X86)
May 9 2006 11:38:51
Copyright (c) 1988-2003 Microsoft Corporation
Standard Edition on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2)

I looked online to compare 8.00.2039 and 8.00.2187. The both refer to MS-SQL 2000 service pack 4.

Any suggestions on how I can restore master database onto the new server?
