>>>Glad to be wrong. So, who's making the big money running these movies through the distribution network? Or, you being the master of web searches, can you find the percentage of domestic vs foreign contents in the movies and/or TV across countries? Just to see whose market is the most open.
>>
>>Get real. It's not a question of whose market is the most open. Everything is available. It's a question of what the public will buy. Unless the place is a specialty store, you stock what will sell or you go out of business.
>>
>>You're just grumpy because those who spend money and drive the market don't share your tastes... :o) Get used to it. The older you get, the more it will happen... :o)
>
>Ah, no, that's not the point. Me being grumpy doesn't change the facts. Hollywood is the Walmart of cinematography. Similar mechanism applies to pretty much anything else.
>
>And while everything's available it still doesn't mean people know what's available, until they look for it, and they won't look for things they never heard of.

It's the studios that advertise the movies. Hollywood studios advertise in foreign countries when movies are released there as well.
