Yes there was one difference. The DCOMCNFG interface in Win2003 is different from Win2000 and prior. Win2003 gives a tree view. There is a master DCOM swith under the properties of "Component Services\Computers\My Computer". Once I turned this switch on, DCOM worked. Thanks for your help!
