I'm sorry, you're right. That does work, and I ran a simple form with just the editbox but linked it to my pre-defined custom editbox and my pre-defined custom form, and it still worked. But on my actual (much more complicated) forms, it doesn't work. There must be some kind of interaction that I'm not catching.
