I need to open a Word document, select all the text, and paste it into a SQL Server field as RTF. I can open the file and copy the text to the clipboard just fine.

I have toyed with using the RTF ActiveX control, but don't see where this would get me. Do I need to use SQL passthrough to send _CLIPTEXT to the SQL Server field?
