Hi Agens

>then you need to figure out what is different beween your IDE and a non ide call. Try to use a vanilla IDE (maybe on a other comp.) Log the settings of your runtime (DISP STATUS; DISP MEMO) to some file and compare with the settings of your IDE, Do you use a included config.fpw? Check its settings.

I checked the version nos. in the runtime exe and IDE both are same. I compared DISP MEMO, STAT, DLLS, the stuff differed for the obvious things (like memory location for loaded functions) but except for 2 WinAPIs in the IDE (probably used by FoxTabs and not found in the project code ref.) I couldn't find any significant differences.

Thanks, if there are any other suggestions please let me know. For the time being I got irritated and have reverted to the original statusbar I was using.
Regards
Bhavbhuti
