Like I tell my boys. One just finished college and the other has just begun. "When you land somewhere, you will instinctively seek out other people and try to recreate some substitute for family." We all try to do it at work daily and we do it in our social and professional settings. At FUDG we have a minor re-creation of some of that mutual respect and support that a family (or community as we often hear in respect to Fox Pro) should provide.

We were glad to have you at our house and hope you can come back. I won't be travelling to SW Fox but thanks to Randy Bosma who is our speaker arranger -- we are having some snippets of the conference at our monthly meetings. We have heard Rick Borup, Cathy Pountney, Rick Schummer and the Feltmans try out their presentations (and they were very good). And next month we feature Christof Wollenhaupt speaking on Guineau, mobile devices, and the mysterious internal workings of VFP.

To expand on Randy's boast of attendees from 5 states -- You from Alabama, the speakers from Toledo Ohio, Randy Jean from South Bend, our own regulars from Chicago Metro area, and two guys who drove in from LaCrosse,WI. Made me think I was at MW Fox!
