Does this make it right?

>The media is after this woman with long knives and anyone who can't see that is myopic, to be charitable. There are so many negative articles on her that could be boiled down to "much ado about nothing". Many in the media have just walked away from what could be called objective journalism. There's almost literally an army of media and Obama sycophants in Wasilla AK trying to dig dirt on her to the point that the mayor has to start handing out numbers to come in like in a deli.

I can recall something similar started from the republicans as soon as they heard Hillary would be running up for presidency about 4 years ago. Special interest sites were launced to start a campaign to stop hillary. I can't remember any republican up here complaining about that. This is exactly the same.

The point is that both camps are guilty of using this practise (but my opinion is that the republicans really made an art out of it during the Bush era). Both are distracing from the really important issues. The problem really is that the average american (here I go again) does not seem to be interested in the more important issues. For most of them it seems it is just watching a soap series or a baseball game: Time to practise coach potato with beer and chips and get heated on the points the other side scores.

And then the complaint about certain newpapers and other left or right media, being biased... From my perspective the american media is CRAP and rotten to the core. There is no independed media or they are marginalised into insignificance. As I have learned from many american citizens they learn more about american politics when they are living outside of the US. The US media simply does not give you the unbiased information. Everything is taken in the context of left and right, republican or democrats.
