I don’t want to penalize or demonize anyone for being rich but share the wealth people. There is rich and than there is absurd wealth. CEO salaries and bonuses in America have been out of control for years. In any company environment no one person is worth what these CEOs are being paid? Do you really think there is going to be an America if things keep going as they are? The middle class is on its way to the low end and who knows where the lower class is going to end up. All these people struggling in America to stay in their homes while Federal government uses 87 billion in US tax payers money to bail out AIG and who knows who next. AIG - a company that would cancel your insurance policy if you were as sick as they are. This is not the definition of Capitalism. If fact the complete opposite.

We have too much greed on Wall Street, too much waste and corruption in government and way too much need in the other 75 percent of America.

I understand why the rich want a Republican but I don't understand why hard working Americans making less than $250,000 a year do. They will pay fewer taxes with Obama’s plan.

In my opinion the Republican Party propaganda machine has created their own attack dogs out of the poorer Republicans while the rich Republicans keep quiet and benefit all the rewards. It makes no sense to me why the worst off are the most devoted to its agenda. One word that keeps coming to mind is ignorance.

Yes, I have some very cool girl friends that visit from NYC and elsewhere year round but especially in the fall when the colors are amazing. I am like a poor, woman-friendly, taller, better-looking version of Charlie on the television show - Two and a half Men. My first 2 years in NYC I met many women from many places as a soup kitchen volunteer and the last 3 years as a dog rescue volunteer. Turns out lots of single woman volunteer for both and so do gay men. That is where the men hitting on me comment came from. I still have friends from those days (girls and guys) and some are gay. I even have married gay friends in Vermont and attended their wedding. My opinion is more power to anyone who wants to be married. Most of my oldest and best friends are a mix of kind rednecks and/or hard-core, right wing Republicans or Independents that I have known all my life. I’ve had parties that brought the two groups together and everyone has had a great time. I also shoot and skin deer, trap beaver, butcher chickens and cows, have guns, a tractor, a dozer, and dump truck, fix all of them, cut fire wood, put up fence, just had a hillside completely clear cut, watch NASCAR and breed and raise Rottweiler and German Shepherd dogs. You can’t label me an Environmentalist, a Liberal or a Conservative. I say I am a Realist because I believe we must mix all three idealisms in order to create a modernized government for the new globalized, melting world.

Since moving to Upstate NY full-time I’ve been called all kinds of names by rednecks from city slicker, pretty boy, computer pussy, loser and queer to asian licker and ni*ger lover. I normally laugh it off or act as if I didn’t hear it and leave it at that but it does get annoying and after my Friday redneck run-in and being incredibly sore and having too much vodka I had some serious email rage. I was extremely angry for a few days last weekend.

Anyway my rage has past while my pain continues.
