Dear rest of the world:

Americans are VERY competitive in everything they do. Their elections are competitions. People take sides and cheer for the party and people they want to be in power. Many disparaging things are said by both sides about the other's candidates. The media take sides too and it shows in their reporting. When it is all over, they shake hands and continue with their competitive lives. To sum up, Americans have a free society that revels in that freedom to say and do as they wish. And so to the rest of the world I say, mind your own business. When you have elections, if you have elections, try to be as free as the Americans.
