In my current VFP application I use an old version of stonefield query to filter the results of a SPT query for report. Once the user runs the report, I let them filter the results of that standard vfp report using the stonefield query. They can pick a field and apply matching conditions that I then apply as a filter on the local cursor before printing the report.

I'm looking for a filtering type tool for .Net. We are using ActiveReports for displaying the reports, which data is tied to a business object. Does anyone know of a component that could be used?
