BTW, it's been years since the last time I looked at InGrid... does it still have those iif(between(nkeycode, 65, 92) or between(nkeycode, 97, 124)) things which work only in English 26 character alphabet?

I think, by description, what Dan has (flipping columns on the fly and restarting incremental search immediately, similar to what I have somewhere) is already better than InGrid, which was cool but had a few limitations.
