Some of my forms take a while to load, I have a form with 6 mappoint maps for example.

I want my software to at least have a form display that somthing is loading.

I have created a progress form that I want to show when my form is setting itself up.

I call the non modal form & the init method of the form adjusts a label to give some description as to what happening/loading & I set the picture graphic on the form to somthing relevant to whats loading.

The problem is the graphics control is taking forever to load and sometimes by the time the graphic has loaded the process has long finished. I'm also using the progress bar from the CTL32 class. Again the progress bar doesn't always start to display until i've called a different value in the bar at least twice.

I've tried refreshing, setting visible to false then true, nothing seems to work. If I just call the progress form, the graphics display straight away.

Any ideas?
Rob
