Nobody tries to dispute the facts or non-facts in an article any more. The argument simply is made that the paper is left wing propaganda, and that seems to be enough for a lot of people around here. In fact, I'll go further by adding that in many cases (if not most), people don't even bother to read the articles. They just dismiss whatever might be in the article as left wing propaganda.

Which used to deurinate me extremely, then I realized I'm not extremist. If they have such a desire to ignore any facts they don't like, too bad for the facts. It's their country, what can I do? I can bark here, cool off my mouth and generally remind the people that I'm not completely blind, but that's as far as it goes.

I've already had a quote here dismissed as an utter lie just because it was mediated through a mildly center-oriented (from my POV - that must have meant extreme left here) website, regardless of the fact that the source being the US government. So... why bother. Let it all fall, and for those who choose to believe in it, go to hell.
