Perhaps because it is not a possitive reflection on the Democrats in Congress? It was the party that stopped the bill Greenspan wanted... If you are willing to read posts that demonize Palin or the current administration and all other posts here regarding the current financial crisis, I am amazed you won't read this one.

The link is worthy of reading. It is important to get that bill through even though it was stopped back then unless you can think of a good reason why not?
