>No, but I have a probable cause...the domain server is likely providing GSNW (Gateway Services for NetWare, which makes NetWare shares available via the domain) to domain members, while non-domain members, or domain members who can't access GSNW (not members of the NTGATEWAY group of the domain) via the server have to handle the connection to the NetWare 4.1x server themselves. Reconfiguration of CSNW or adding non-domain members to the domain, even if only to join the NTGATEWAY group, may be necessary - get your network administrator in on this.

Our NT Server is only used for development purposes and we really do not want to purchase a license for every user of this application. We do the administration of the NT server ourselves. Our MIS department manages the Novell servers and they have very little experience with NT Server.

You mentioned reconfiguration of CSNW might help, could you expand on this a little.
