Tracy,
I suggest that you reread the message. As I understand it, if you get fired after one year, they must pay you three months salary. After two years they must pay you four months salary, after three years they must pay you five months salary, and so on.
>I'm confused. Are you saying that if you work for a company for a year (as a permanent employee) and they fire you, not only did you earn a salary for a year while working for them but they have to pay you
another year's salary at the time of firing as a type of severance pay?

>>Anybody can be hired for a 3 month "trial period", and fired after that. After that trial period, if any worker is to be fired, he must be paid the equivalent of 3 months salary, plus the equivalent of 1 months for every year he has worked at the company.
