OK, I win. My sealed move was a bet against myself that this will all somehow be blamed on the liberals, no matter what.

It was the right wingers who were always soft on rapists and hard on their victims. No amount of wishful thinking and hypothetical case making can change that.

I can maybe have some understanding for one who was frustrated by the society at every step, and was handicapped by injustice from all sides, and who takes some consolation in revenge. But rape is simply sub-human; 25 to life IMO.
