VBA is a sub-set of VB. One of the language elements that I am aware of that is present in VBA and not VB is the Eval() function. It works like the one in VFP. My guess is that since VBA is not compiled - at least I dont think it is compiled to the extent of VB - this functionality can exist in VBA.

As for additional string functions - I don't think so...
