Not to detract from the good doctor but he would never have been a Fox programmer since there is no way to reduce FoxPro down to just three laws.

OTOH Roger Zalaney seems to have the proper mindset. One one side you have the master PATTERN class from which everything structured can be derived by the initiates. But then the PATTERN was derived from CHAOS procedure which can supply anything a master needs on demand. Now if I can work the Jewel of Judgement into this analogy...
