I have one of feilds in a table as a varchar field, varchar(2000).
I imported data from MS Access and this is wired to a text field.

However, not all the text content was imported into varchar(2000).
Only 255 character was imported.
I think this defeats the purpose of varchar field.

Is there a way for this field to contain more than 255 characters?
