Take a look at DevForce. The company name is IdeaBlade at
www.IdeaBlade.com. They have an "Express" version that is completely free, so no limits on evaluation.
I have looked MereMortals, StrataFrame, and DevForce. I think each framework has its strengths and weakness. DevForce has the most advanced Object Relational Mapping and persistence. It caches objects locally and can support disconnected operation. You can even keep creating new objects when disconnected. It assigns temporary primary keys and when you connect back to the database it gets the correct keys and updates all records before synchronizing.
The down side of DevForce while it does good object binding it does no other UI help. There is nothing like the browse window or other controls that StraFrame uses. If I had to create a WinForms project quick I would go with StraFrame. For a major long term project (like the one I am currently on) I use DevForce. If I had to do a quick ASP.Net project I would probably reevaluate MereMortals, the other 2 frameworks don't have any web controls.
For Fox guys StraFrame has the advantage that it was designed to do things the way FoxPro does them. That could be an advantage for you or your team.
