I would like to upgrade to vfp9 but cannot right now, time is the problem more than anything at the moment. I can get the image into the clipboard and if i have a table with a general field i can open the field and click on edit paste to get the image into the field. I cannot get the image in programmitically though, but i reckon that it should be possible. is it possible to get the image into the general field and then copy out to a file.

>Sorry, I missed the VFP 8 part. (I didn't realize anyone was still using it ; ) ) Parts of the GDIPlusX library will work with VFP 8, but this routine would probably not. The main holdup being the call to CTOBIN and BINTTOC with the "4rs" parameter.
