One of the quirks about skinning a VFP app is that the controls on the form, unlike the .net controls, don't have windows handles as their not really windows - so it's really pretty impressive what the author has done - must of been a lot of work to get such a thing going.

Where can we get the VFPskin 3 demo? Looking at the VFPSKIN 2 source code, they are not skinning the windows form buttons. You have to set the form TitleBar property to 0 - Off. They put up their own minimize, maximize and close buttons. Their close button fires the form's Release method.
