Ver 3.0? Wow!! I'm shamefully late in coming to even the most basic use of real Objects in VFP. I never even got the concept until earlier this year when I began learning C#, VFP, and LINQ. Then I realized what an "Object" is really all about.

Before that, I just built everything in the VFP IDE, based on a few sub-classes of textboxes and such so I could have some inheretence for visual consistency, but most of the program logic was in the methods and events of the UI controls. Some of my sub-classed textboxes have lookup and validate method in the class cose, but not much else in the way of formal business object behavior exists outside of my procedural coding style.

Anyway...Now, I am poking back thourgh my app and trying to improve the architecture to something I can be a little more proud of.

It never ends.
