VFP9SP2 ReportBehavior 80

I have a weird issue wherein the page and group headers of the first page of a new group are printing the OLD group header information. If this new group spans multiple pages, the second page will show the correct header info.

This problem doesn't appear to be the same as http://cathypountney.blogspot.com/2007/11/gotcha-serious-report-bug-with-data.html

Just in case the problem is related to the above mentioned bug, I turned off the option to reprint page headers and that did not fix it.

Also, this report only has a 1 to many relationship with one table (it has many 1 to 1 relationships with other tables), yet it gives very, very wacky results unless I put the expression in the detail band. Without the expression in the detail band the report will have an infinite number of pages, and the header band will only ever show the detail from the first header record.

If I set ReportBehavior to 90 I get the same result.

I just tried this report in VFP8 and I get an infinite number of pages (same as VFP9 until I change the detail expression band). I'm assuming that's the vital clue?

Any ideas?
