That's basically why I always contribute to a couple of charities each year. I either benefitted from them directly, or I know someone who did. It doesn't matter to me how much the CEO makes for those charities because I have seen the good they do. However, when I am considering donating to a new charity, I do check out the overhead costs and ratings...
