I don't do the driving, Gary does. ;-) I heard that winter was not bad there.

I'm not sure what the work-at-home policy will be. Currently, I work at home 3 days a week (our office in Yakima is 45 miles away ... same company, different offices). I suppose at least initially I'll have to be in the Hillsboro office every day, since our apartment is only 2 blocks away. I'm hoping for more leniency once we move farther out. We'll see.

It's not that we like a commute ... it's that we like a little land with our house. We currently live on a one acre lot and would like something comparable. We're still looking though, we don't have our hearts set on Scappoose, just that there's more land up there. I found a nice-looking house with an acre+ lot in Beaverton though, so who knows.
