How ironic. I just read the news that Paul Newman passed.
Not going to watch "Shine a Light" -- they are too old now and will spoil my memories.
I thought "No Country For Old Men" and "Little Miss Sunshine" were fantastic. Have not seen the others.
Here is something I think you would like: "Mi-5", the first season. (It was aired in England as "Spooks." They changed the name for some reason....) An intelligent spy thriller.
>Never got into that one.

>Cloverfield
>No Country for Old Men
>Shine A Light (Mike *has* to see this one)
>Little Miss Sunshine
>Amazing Grace
>Resurrecting the Champ

>>The Paul Newman/Sally Field movie? I thought that movie was fantastic. It was a surprise.

>>>LOL, so true.

>>>Next up: "Absence of Malice". Trust me ;-). It's even set in Miami.

>>>>I haven't seen it in a long time but "The Last Waltz" was great. We may not agree politically but I get the feeling we'd have a good 'ol time with a decent stereo and a stack of CDs.

>>>>>True. You should check out "The Last Waltz" if you haven't seen it. The Band is (are?) terrific and the guest list is a who's who list. My favorites are Eric Clapton's guitar solo and Van Morrison. I probably have 20 Van Morrison CDs and that was him at his peak.

>>>>>>The version the Who filmed for "The Kids are Alright" was one of the greatest live performance ever captured.
