>>>>>The Republicans absolutely want McCain for cover. The Democrats want cover likewise. This is radioactive. Nobody with any sense of self preservation wants it sticking to them.
>>>>
>>>>Really? As far as I see it, Republicans (conservative part) will not vote for it regardless to McCain. Will McCain join them or not is debatable. In regard to Democrats, they should better get concerned about own candidate. Why should they claim or demand McCain vote? They could take note of Obama vote, and, after all, if they consider this bailout right thing to do (it is your opinion, correct?) then they have votes, regardless to McCain, Obama and anything else.
>>>
>>>It is not my opinion. I am reacting to explosive unfolding events like everyone else.
>>>
>>>The guy I am liking is Henry Paulson.
>>
>>So, when you are reacting, it is not your opinion? Puzzled. I don't even mention the second phrase.

>Nitpicking, are we? He forgets to insert one word ("not [just] my opinion") and you make it a general rule? Tsk, tsk...
I am not sure. I read it the same as Ed. Did Mike mean 'it is not
