I think McCain barely won on an even field but he should have trounced Obama in this area and that makes him the loser. He should have better used his encyclopedic knowledge of world affairs to drag Obama out of his comfort zone.

>I am not surprised most polls show the women polled seem to think Obama had come out on top because he is probably the best speaker of his generation. He is very personable as well. That helped Kennedy and it is helping Obama. I think McCain came across more knowledgeable but Obama came across capable and personable. Bush's speeches have embarrassed this country so much in the past that I think it will be a welcome relief to the majority of this country's citizens to have a President who can eloquently express his views.
