Oh, an additional note:

Carl Warner was also not renewed. Considering how many people are members of VFUG and receive the VFUG newsletter, that's a downright huge oversight. Is this all based on post count? Do they want to turn this into a beauty contest - Carl would never win a post count contest - he's too busy keeping 40,000 VFUG members freely serviced. I consider Carl and Mike Fournier the two pillars of the community watering-holes and one of those was just knocked down. IMHO, totally uncool, and I hope I'm not the only one raising hell about Carl.

Hey current and former MVP friends take note - if they take out Carl who knows who might be next?

>Well, gang ... this sucks, but I have NOT had my MVP status renewed this awards cycle (Oct. 1). I was kind of half-expecting it, because my community contributions have gone way down since about April, for lots of various reasons. But it still sucks. =0(
