Oh, another "small" movie I loved him in -- "Nobody's Fool". It was based on a book by one of my favorite writers, Richard Russo, and when I first heard he was going to star in it I thought he was all wrong for the part. How could a guy as suave as Paul Newman play a loser like Sully? But he nailed it. He had a best friend named Rub and an affectionate landlady played by Jessica Tandy in what I believe was her last role. Now they're both gone. Fortunately, in their line of work you're immortal.
