It would be helpful to know the exact error message, to know some of the Access options chosen, or to have a sample of the XML.

However, XMLToCursor is a quick and dirty way to get flat XML data into a VFP cursor. You may want to try the XMLAdapter, it was designed to be compatible with other Microsoft XML data sources and support heirarchial XML data.
