we are having a problem with object creation taking longer under vista ,hopefully some one has solution for this. we've a letter writing ability in our app that launches word object. while creating word object if user pressess F12 ,which is hotkey in our app to save on any screen,our app crashes with OLE error. after some research I found out that F12 is hotkey for "Save as" in office applications and that causing the issues. if user waits long enough no errors.
with XP we don't have this problem even if you press F12 very quickly ,any suggestions/advice ?
