Maybe not explicitely, but certainly implicitly. I've been suggested more than once to stop critisizing the US because I should be thankfull to the US because of the liberation in WWII and the Marshall plan. Maybe a cultural thing, but it often seems a diversion from the issue, esspecailly since current affairs are compared with things that happened a long time ago
