I am talking programmatically:

I mean I have 5 address in my data I need to plot on a map.
I know I can plot 2 points and get a map with directions.
But I want to plot all 5 points on my goole map.
I had bought the book 'Google maps applications with PHP and Ajax' but it seem all interface with google API needs lon/lat and I did not understand how to convert an wddress to lon/lat

The application is this. we keep events (meetings, conferences etc.) in a database and show them on an HTML calendar. I also have a hyperlink on the Events screen which brings up google maps in a browser with the location of the event and directions from our home office to the event.

>Onscreen, plot start and end, then drag any point in the middle to where you want it.
>Programmatically... hmmm, wouldn't know how to achieve the same thing.
