That's likely the cause of the error. What's strange is why it's happening, and unfortunately I don't have a good explanation for that.

Perhaps open the VCX as a table (ie. USE SFERRORMGR.VCX), browse it, find the record for the class, and look at the properties memo to see if there's anything weird in there.
